Once each barrel reaches the proper humidity level construction begins. Each planter is handcrafted and made to last a long time. Each metal band is removed from the barrel and wire wheeled to remove all existing rust. Then each metal band is sealed with four coats on both sides to prevent future rust. Every Inch of the planter is then sealed with four coats of water lox marine finish to allow this planter to live a long time no matter the element. Galvanized bolts are used to make sure the planter stands strong.
